Poem

O the Great Life, no poetry any more,
Bring on the hard harsh prose today,
Let the jingle reared in verse disappear,
Strike with the hard hammer of prose instead.

No need of the softness of a poem–
Poetry, I am sending you on leave today;
In the realm of hunger, the earth is prosaic:
The full Moon is, as it were, the baked bread.
