Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi

Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic jurist, and theologian. Born in Balkh, present-day Afghanistan, he lived most of his life in Konya, Turkey. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest poets of the Persian language and one of the greatest Sufi mystics. Rumi's works include the collection of poems known as the "Masnavi," which is considered one of the greatest works of Persian literature. He is also known for his teachings on love and spirituality, which have inspired millions of people around the world. Today, Rumi remains one of the most widely read and beloved poets, with his works translated into many languages.
