Christina Georgina Rossetti was an English poet and writer. She was born in London and was the sister of the poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti. She began writing poetry at a young age and had her first poem published at the age of 14. Rossetti went on to publish several collections of poetry, including "Goblin Market and Other Poems" and "The Prince's Progress and Other Poems." Her poetry was known for its religious themes, and her work often dealt with issues of faith and love. Rossetti's work was highly respected in her time and she was considered one of the leading female poets of the Victorian era. She was also an advocate for women's rights and education.
